Aerospike announced a LangGraph integration that provides agentic AI workflows with durable, low-latency memory, addressing one of the main reasons these systems break in production. Most LangGraph agents are still effectively stateless. They lose context when a process crashes, a deployment restarts, or a workflow pauses. That creates a real production problem for enterprises running long, multi-step workflows across thousands of concurrent sessions.
Aerospike NoSQL Database 8 adds a persistent memory layer for LangGraph, so developers can retain short-term execution context and longer-term agent memory without changing how graphs are defined or executed. This gives teams a more stable way to run agentic workflows at scale, with millisecond latency, high concurrency, and fault tolerance in the critical data path.

DataBahn announced Autonomous In-Stream Data Intelligence (AIDI), a new operating model that moves interpretation, enrichment and decision-making into the pipeline itself, so data arrives at your SIEM already normalized, classified and ready to use. It’s also launching the DataBahn Agent Farm — six specialized AI agents that autonomously build connectors, map assets, detect coverage gaps, validate delivery and protect sensitive data in-stream. Early design partners have compressed SIEM onboarding from months to days and cut log volume 40–70% without losing security value. AIDI and the DataBahn Agent Farm are available now in private preview for select design partners and enterprise customers.

Fivetran’s 2026 Enterprise Data Infrastructure Benchmark Report, based on a survey of 500 senior data and technology leaders at large global enterprises, found a growing disconnect between rising data investment and actual AI execution:
- Enterprises now spend an average of $29.3M annually on data programs
- Yet 97% report AI or analytics delays caused by pipeline failures
- Organizations experience 60+ hours of pipeline downtime per month
- These disruptions translate to ~$3M in average monthly business exposure

Google researchers published a “TurboQuant: Online Vector Quantization with Near-optimal Distortion Rate” paper which describes a method to virtually loss-lessly compress AI token vectors in HBM. A Google -blog says “TurboQuant is a compression method that achieves a high reduction in model size with zero accuracy loss, making it ideal for supporting both key-value (KV) cache compression and vector search. … TurboQuant is a compression method that achieves a high reduction in model size with zero accuracy loss, making it ideal for supporting both key-value (KV) cache compression and vector search."
And: “Techniques like TurboQuant … allow for building and querying large vector indices with minimal memory, near-zero preprocessing time, and state-of-the-art accuracy.“

Hammerspace was named a winner in the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Awards by the Business Intelligence Group. As AI infrastructure continues to be constrained by data bottlenecks, Hammerspace provides the foundation to activate unstructured data at scale with faster AI pipelines, higher utilization of costly GPU resources, lower infrastructure spend and reduced operational complexity. AI infrastructure keeps getting more powerful, but the real bottleneck is still data,” said David Flynn, founder and CEO of Hammerspace. “Most approaches solve that by creating YAC(k) – yet another copy – and another silo to manage. We took a different path. Hammerspace rebuilt the data plane itself to deliver high-performance access, data mobility, and operational simplicity using open standards. That’s what allows customers to put AI into real production, faster, without the cost, delay, and complexity of copying data into yet another infrastructure stack.”

Percona has updated benchmarking for MySQL and related databases. The TLDR version is MySQL 5.7 still tends to perform better at low thread workloads compared to the newer versions, but 8.4 and 9.6 perform better with larger multi-threaded workloads. Read about it here. MySQL 5.7 is past end of life already, while MySQL 8.0 is end of life at the end of next month. So users should migrate to MySQL 8.4 (Long Term Support version) or 9.6 if they want to remain on supported versions.
